Dance With Melody, founded in 1991 by owner Melody Shanley, offers every student a high quality and rewarding dance education experience. Students develop a love for dance as well as an appreciation for the art of dance. In a comfortable and fun environment, students learn proper technique, while building their own self-esteem and confidence. Each student is carefully monitored to be placed in the class that will be both challenging yet graded to accommodate student’s levels. Whether the student is beginner or experienced, recreational or competitive, students can be certain they will be placed in the correct class.

Performance opportunities are offered to all students including our yearly recital, recital productions, and graded syllabus. Specialty classes are offered throughout the year including summer camps, company intensive camps, master classes as well as our dancin’ moms and dads.

The studio has participated in many events throughout the past years including benefit performances for American Cancer Society, Dancers Responding to Aids, Make-A-Wish, Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and others. Our Diamonds Dance Company members have participated in Regional and National Competitions as well as performances at Great Adventure, Blue Claws games, The Strand Theatre, Cultural Art Center, Senior Citizen Homes and most recently with Carnival Cruise Line's Imagination in June of 2010!
